The magnets inside the casing are brittle and will crack or shatter when allowed to come together with force.

For this reason we have put several warning labels on our packaging and all our DoorMag, DoorMag Pro and DoorMag Pro Mini units quality checked prior to dispatch to ensure these are in good condition.

It’s likely that the magnets have been incorrectly inserted into your doorframe and are repelling instead of attracting.

Remove one magnet and flip it around so it will attract to the other instead of repelling

Our DoorMag & DoorMag Pro units are made for your regular household door so heavier or larger doors may require additional units in order to be held.
For smaller doors our DoorMag Pro Mini can be used in conjunction with another kit to increase its overall holding force.

Our DoorMag and DoorMag Pro only come with the single magnet size. We are however able to supply larger magnets individually on request for a stronger hold.
