Magnets New Zealand has a wide range of magnetic lifters including the popular PML range of magnetic lifters with a built in 3:1 safety factor to comply with the AS 4991-2004 safety standard which requires a tear-off force of at least 3 times rated capacity for permanent lifting magnets for safe operation.
Our lifting magnets are fitted with high strength Neodymium magnets to provide a strong hold and will not weaken with age unless they are heated above their maximum temperature tolerance of 80°C.
Most commonly found in sheet metal yards and engineering workshops, our lifters are ideal for moving steel plates, blocks or cylinders in a safe environment.
