Our Magnetic Viewing Film allows you to see the magnetic field of a magnet with the naked eye. See how each magnetic pole interacts with each other and how a magnetic field connects the two.
    By being able to visually see the magnets makes them vital to educational institutions to demonstrate how a magnet works and about how the different types of magnets differ from one another.
    These are also used in magnetic separation equipment testing to view the magnetic system and assess if a system has been damaged or if the magnetism is lacking in certain areas.

    This is possible because of how the viewing film is constructed, being made from small iron particles that are suspended in clear oil between two plastic sheets. The result is that these iron particles are able to move around between the two sheets so they can be manipulated by the magnetic field into a pattern that shows the magnetic field. By coloring the sheet green it makes it easy to see the darker areas that are being influenced by a magnetic field.

    These are supplied in three stock sizes but they can be cut to any size using a pair of scissors or Stanley knife.
